Yesterday the 2019 Chicago Auto Show was taken over by Chicago sports fans for the all-new Sports Team Pride Day! This special day offered discounted admission and exciting sports-focused activations.
Chicago sport teams including the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Fire and Chicago Wolves were represented throughout the show floor. Fans were encouraged to engage with each exhibit space, which offered exciting and interactive displays.
Here were some of the highlights from Sports Team Pride Day:
The Chicago Blackhawks know how to rev up Sports Team Pride Day, as they partner with Chevrolet. The team set up camp in the South Hall with a custom Blackhawks Chevy Camaro. Corey Crawford’s 1970 Chevelle is also on display and could be yours! Enter to win this restored Chevy right on the show floor or click here. Do not miss the great photo opportunities of these stunning cars!
Not only can you see the sporty red Blackhawks Camaro and Crawford’s ride, you can try your luck playing shoot the puck. You can also take some fun “locker room pictures” in the photobooth. While you’re having fun, don’t forget to snag some swag from the merch tent where you can get 25 percent off all jerseys.
Celebrity alert: former Blackhawks player, Brian Campbell, was in attendance as well!
The Chicago Fire also participated with a mini soccer field! Kids took their best shot to win some team swag such as stickers, wrist bands and home opener flyers. It was a fun experience where kids can test out their footwork and scream once they make their “gooooaaalll!”
The Chicago Wolves gave fans a howlling good time at the auto show where fans played bags and shot some pucks. Fans also had the chance to win tickets, shirts, hats and team swag!
The Chicago White Sox gave people the chance to win prizes by spinning their prize wheel, everything from T-shirts to flags! They even had mascot South Paw on-hand. Throughout the rest of the show, be sure to check out the decked-out White Sox Toyota in the South Hall where you can grab a Sox bag! This is truly something no White Sox fan would want to miss.
The Chicago Cubs were also represented with a custom-wrapped vehicle. Don’t forget to grab a free Cubs reusable bag! Act quick, they are going fast!
The Chicago Bears partnered with Ford to create an unforgetable, decked-out F-150. Every member of the family wants in on the experience!
