Posted by: Erin Guth

Dodge claims their Durango is a triple threat with power, 6000 pound towing capacity and best-in-class fuel economy. What's most appealing to enthusiasts is the sport minded R/T model. It boasts a 360-horsepower Hemi V8, sport-tuned suspension and upgraded brakes.

2015 Jeep Wrangler

For the adventure-seeker who hike, bike, run and swim, the 2015 Wrangler is the go-to choice. Active-lifestyle features include wash-out interior with drain plugs, heavy-duty axles and 2-speed transfer case, electronic front and rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar, tow hooks and rock rails.

2015 Ford Explorer

Ford likes to peg the Explorer as a Jack-of-all-trades. It's got the passenger space, cargo room, and refinement of a family hauler and the off-road chops for the muddy trail to the summer cottage. Most models get a 290-horsepower V6 or a 240-horsepower turbo four. Available only on the Sport is a turbocharged V6 that makes 365 horsepower.
