Mazda Spreads Holiday Cheer

Posted by: Erin Guth

Mazda is spreading holiday cheer this season by pledging an hour of community service every time someone test-drives one of their vehicles. Mazda is also donating $150 to charity for every Mazda vehicle bought or leased. The Mazda Drive for Good event is going on now through January, 2nd 2015.

This is the second annual Mazda Drive for Good event. Thus far this year, $393,150 has been donated and 1631 community service hours have accumulated. Last year Mazda volunteer 56,000 hours and donated $2.7 million to national and local charities over the course of the event.

National charities include St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Red Cross, Mazda Foundation and American Heart Association; local Chicagoland charities include Northern Illinois Food Bank and Greater Chicago Food Depository.
