2025 Volkswagen Tiguan: The Volkswagen Tiguan is all-new for 2025. It remains a 4-door wagon that competes in the highly competitive compact crossover segment with rivals like the Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-50, Nissan Rogue, Subaru and Toyota RAV4. This third-generation model is available exclusively in a two-row configuration for the North American market. The Tiguan features bold new styling, a more powerful engine, and enhanced fuel efficiency. New features for 2025 include a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, genuine American walnut wood décor, and massaging front seats.
The 2025 Tiguan is offered in several trim levels: S, SE, SEL, and R-Line. All trims come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, with 4Motion all-wheel drive (AWD) available as an option.
Pricing for the 2025 Tiguan hasn't yet been released, but is expected to start at about $29,000 for the base S trim and as much as $45,000 for the top-tier R-Line trim. Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. Optional equipment includes a head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, and adaptive cruise control. The Tiguan also boasts an upgraded VW IQ.Drivesuite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
