2025 Volkswagen Atlas: The 2025 Volkswagen Atlas is a three-row midsize crossover that competes with vehicles like the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride, Mazda CX90, Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Grand Highlander. It sits above the compact Volkswagen Tiguan in the VW lineup. New features for 2025 include wireless device charging, upgraded seat comfort in the SEL Premium R-Line trim, and a panoramic sunroof as an option.
The 2025 Atlas is offered in five trim levels: SE, SE with Technology, Peak Edition SE with Technology, SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line. All trims come with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The SE and SE with Technology trims are available in both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD), while the other trims come standard with AWD3. There are no optional engines or transmissions, and the Atlas is not available as an EV.
Pricing for the 2025 Volkswagen Atlas starts at $38,200 for the SE trim and goes up to $53,205 for the SEL Premium R-Line trim. Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping system, and blind-spot intervention. Optional equipment includes 20-inch wheels, LED light bars, hands-free power liftgate, panoramic sunroof, and ambient cabin lighting.
