2025 Honda Prologue: The 2025 Honda Prologue is Honda's first foray into the all-electric SUV market, developed in partnership with General Motors. This electric SUV competes in the midsize crossover class, going up against rivals like the Chevrolet Blazer EV, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and Tesla Model Y. New features for 2025 include an expanded Honda Sensing Suite with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and a panoramic sunroof for added luxury.
The Prologue is offered in three trim levels: EX, Touring, and Elite. The base EX trim comes with a single motor, front-wheel drive, and an 85 kWh battery pack, delivering 212 horsepower and an estimated range of 296 miles per charge. The Touring trim adds leather upholstery, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and LED fog lights. The top-tier Elite trim features dual motors, all-wheel drive, 288 horsepower, and a slightly lower range of 273 miles. All trims come with a Level 2 home charger and a $500 installation credit.
Pricing for the 2025 Honda Prologue starts at $48,795 for the EX trim, $51,700 for the Touring trim, and $57,900 for the Elite trim. Standard safety features include lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking1. Optional equipment includes ventilated front seats, a hands-free power gate, and a premium sound system. The Prologue aims for a Top Safety Pick+ designation from the IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA.
