2023 Ram 1500: The Ram 1500 sees the addition of a new Built to Serve Edition truck that pays tribute to America's EMS first responders. It features trim-specific decals in the outside, as well as velcro areas for patches on the inside. The Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that seats 5 passengers and is offered in a quad cab and crew cab configurations. Competitors include the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, GMC Sierra, Nissan Titan, and Toyota Tundra. A high-performance off-road version is offered.
 
Nine trims are offered: Tradesman, HFE, Big Horn/Lone Star, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. Four engines are offered: A 3.6-liter V6 with mild-hybrid system that makes 305 horsepower, a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 395 horsepower, a turbodiesel 3.0-liter V6 that makes 260 horsepower, and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that makes 702 horsepower (TRX). All engines pair to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard with four-wheel drive being optional.  Maximum towing capacity is rated at 12,750 pounds.
 
The Ram TRX is a high-performance off-road truck that boasts 702-horsepower, as well as Bilstein adaptive shocks, 2-inch lift kit, 35-inch all-terrain tires, upgraded brakes, Dana 60 rear axle, electronic locking differential, skid plates and launch control. Pricing ranges from $39,000 to $85,000.
