2024 Ford Maverick: The Ford Maverick remains unchanged for 2024, though a hybrid engine is no longer the standard offering. Two trims are offered: XLT and Lariat trim. Two engines are offered: A turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower and mates to an 8-speed automatic, and a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) to produce 191 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Maximum payload on all models is 1,500 pounds. Max. Towing on hybrids is 2,000 pounds and 4,000 on turbo models. $25,000 to $40,000.
