2023 Ford F-150: The best-selling vehicle in the US for decades, the F-150 remains fundamentally unchanged, though its lineup sees some additions. A new F-150 Rattler off-road trim is new for 2023, adding a unique exterior livery, 18-inch wheels, off-road suspension, dual-exhaust system, and locking differential. Certain 2023 F-150 models will also receive Blue Cruise technology via software update. The new, V8-powered F-150 Raptor R also joins the lineup in 2023. F-150 is a full-size, half-ton pickup truck that seats 3 to 6 passengers depending on configuration. Regular cab, SuperCab and SuperCrew body styles are offered. Competitors include the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Nissan Titan, Ram 1500 and Toyota Tundra. High-performance off-road and hybrid variants are available.
10 trims are offered: XL, XLT, Rattler, Heritage Edition, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Raptor. Six engines are offered: A 3.3-liter V6 with 290 horsepower, a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 with 325 horsepower, a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower (Raptor), a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 aided by a 35-kilowatt electric motor that produce 430 horsepower, a 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower, and a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 with 700 horsepower in the Raptor R. Rear-wheel drive is standard with four-wheel drive being optional.
The Raptor R is the high-performance off-road variant of the F-150 Raptor, and is only offered as a SuperCrew with the turbocharged supercharged V8. It features bigger all-terrain tires, off-road wheels, Fox suspension, and different interior and exterior design. The PowerBoost trim is the hybrid of the lineup, featuring an optional Pro Power Onboard electric generator that can operate power tools and appliances. It can generate up to 7,200 watts. Pricing ranges from $36,000 to $110,000.
