2024 Acura MDX: The Acura MDX remains unchanged for 2024 following a complete redesign in 2022. MDX is a luxury 3-row crossover that's only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the BMW X5, Cadillac XT6, Mercedes-Benz GLE and the Volvo XC90.

There are six trims available: MDX, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, Type S, and Type S Advanced. Two engines are offered: A 3.5-liter V6 that makes 290 horsepower and mates to a 10-speed automatic. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 5,000 pounds.

The MDX Type S features a 355-horsepower, V6 turbocharged engine, standard air suspension, Brembo brakes, and a more aggressive exterior design with blacked-out accessories. Inside, it gets massaging front seats and a 25-speaker ELS sound system. Pricing ranges from $47,000 to $70,000.
