2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L: The Grand Cherokee L gets a new, optional infotainment system for 2022, as well as new passenger entertainment screens similar to those in the larger Grand Wagoner. Grand Cherokee L is a three-row, 7-passenger vehicle that's only offered as a 4-door SUV. Competitors include the Chevrolet Tahoe, Lexus LX, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia.
Six trims are offered: Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve. Two engines are available: A 3.6-liter V6 that produces 290 horsepower, and a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 357 horsepower. Both come standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 6,200 pounds. Pricing ranges from $39,000 to $66,000.
