2021 Nissan Murano: The Murano is a midsize, two-row crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door wagon. Murano was most recently restyled in 2015 and carries on into 2021 with additional standard safety features and a new Special Edition package. Competitors include the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Edge, Honda Passport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento, Subaru Forester and Volkswagen Tiguan.
Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Trim levels include S, SV, SL and Platinum. Sole powertrain offering is a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 260 horsepower mated to continuously variable automatic transmission. Towing capacity is rated at 1,500 pounds.
The new Special Edition package is only offered on the SV. It includes 20-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, faux-leather upholstery and surround-view camera system. Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $34,000 to $47,000.
