2021 Acura ILX: The Acura ILX is a compact four-door sedan that carries over for 2021 unchanged. ILX offers seating for five and is Acura’s lowest priced vehicle. Competitors include the Audi A3, BMW 2-Series, and Mercedes-Benz A-Class. ILX shares chassis with the Honda Civic.
Offered only with front-wheel drive, the ILX comes in one trim with three optional packages that include Premium Package, A-Spec with Premium Package, and A-Spec with Technology & Premium Package. The Technology package requires the A-Spec Package. Only one engine is available: A 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 201-horsepower and mates to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The ILX comes with standard features such as LED headlights and taillights, moonroof, acoustic glass windshield, a 5-inch infotainment display, and 17-inch machine finished wheels. Available with upgraded packages are an 8-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, blind-spot information and rear cross-traffic monitoring. Standard driver-assist features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and a multi-view rear camera.
