2019 Toyota Avalon: The 2019 Toyota Avalon is an entry-luxury sedan that shares some DNA with both the Toyota Camry. This five-seat, four-door sedan will compete with vehicles such as the Chevrolet Impala, Volkswagen Passat, and Kia Cadenza. The Avalon is all-new for 2019.
At launch, the all-new Avalon will be powered by either a 3.5-liter V6 engine, or a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Toyota Hybrid System II engine with a 650-volt electric motor. The Avalon is front-wheel drive, and the V6 will employe an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid will feature a continuously-variable-transmission (CVT). Fuel economy or other performance specifications have not been released.
The Avalon is available in XSE, Touring, XLE, and Limited trims. Available features include power moonroof, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, wireless smartphone charging, Bluetooth, navigation, USB, satellite radio, premium audio, heated front seats, heated rear seats, and cooled front seats.
Available safety features include pre-collision system, lane-departure warning, radar cruise control, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, and dual-front, front-side, rear-side, front-knee and side-curtain airbags.
