2019 Subaru Crosstrek: The 2019 Subaru Crosstrek is a 5-seat car that's only available as a 4-door crossover. Only all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Mazda CX-5, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Rogue Sport. For 2019, it receives new high-tech safety features and adds a plug-in hybrid variant to the lineup.
There is only one engine available: A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 152 horsepower and pairs with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic (CVT). EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 23 mpg city to 33 mpg highway. Details on its plug-in hybrid engine have yet to be released.
There are three different trims available: 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, and 2.0i Limited. Available convenience features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB, navigation, moonroof, satellite radio, leather-wrapped seats, and heated front seats. Safety features include blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, frontal collision warning, sway control, adaptive headlights and automatic high beam control.
New features for 2019 include a new 6.5-inch multimedia system standard, reverse automatic braking and Subaru Starlink services.
