2019 Nissan Pathfinder: The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is a 7-seat car that's only offered as a 4-door SUV. Rear- and four-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Ford Explorer and Honda Pilot. For 2019, it sees the addition of a Rock Creek outdoor-inspired variant, and it receives new safety and comfort features.
There is only one engine available: A 3.5-liter V6 that makes 284 horsepower and pairs to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 19 mpg city to 27 mpg highway. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 6,000 pounds.
There are four different trims: S, SV, SL and Platinum. Features include power liftgate, panoramic moonroof, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, premium audio, satellite radio, Bluetooth, USB, navigation and rear-seat DVD. Safety features include a rearview camera, 360-degree camera, rear sonar system, blind-spot warning, rear-cross traffic alert and forward emergency braking.
New features for 2019 include adaptive cruise control, rear sonar standard, new exterior colors and more type-C USB ports. The Rock Creek package offers a trim-exclusive Army Green color, in addition to a roof rack and black-out badges.
