2019 Lincoln MKZ: The 2019 Lincoln MKZ is a 5-seat luxury car that's only available as a 4-door sedan. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Buick Lacrosse, Nissan Maxima and Toyota Avalon. For 2019, the MKZ gains a suite of high-tech safety features and loses its Black Label trim. A hybrid variant is also available.
There are two engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 245 horsepower and a 3.0-liter V6 that makes 400 horsepower. Both engines mate to a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder hybrid engine that makes 188 total horsepower and pairs to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is also available.
There are three trims available: Premiere, Select and Reserve. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sync 3, navigation, heated and cooled front seats, satellite radio, USB, and dual-zone climate control. Safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rearview camera.
News features for 2019 include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitors, active lane control, adaptive cruise control with full stop and go and auto high beams standard.
