2019 Hyundai Veloster: The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is a 4-seat car that's only available as a 4-door sedan. Only front-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Ford Focus, Honda Civic Coupe and Mini Cooper. For 2019, the Veloster is all-new.
There are three engines available: A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that produces 147 horsepower, a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 275 horsepower, for the sporty N trim. There are three engines available: A 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 25 mpg city to 34 mpg highway.
There will be six Veloster trims: Veloster, 2.0, Premium, Turbo, Turbo R-Spec and N. Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, BlueLink connectivity system, USB, wireless charging, navigation system, sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, satellite radio, etc. Safety features include rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, smart cruise control and lane-departure warning, dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
