2019 Hyundai Veloster: The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is a four-seat hatchback that will compete against other fun-to-drive coupes like the Ford Focus, Honda Civic Coupe, and Mini Cooper. For 2018 (as a 2019 model), the Veloster is all new.
The Veloster will be powered by three different engines: A 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 147 horsepower, a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with the ability to produce up to 275 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The N performance model is front-wheel drive and will employ a short-throw six-speed manual transmission with downshift rev-matching capability. Other models can be outfitted with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
There will be six Veloster trims: Base, 2.0 Premium, Turbo R-Spec, Turbo, Turbo Ultimate, and N. Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, BlueLink connectivity system, USB, wireless charging, navigation system, sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, satellite radio, etc.
Available safety features include rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, smart cruise control and lane-departure warning, dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
