2019 Hyundai Tucson: The 2019 Hyundai Tucson is a 5-seat crossover that's only offered as a 4-door wagon. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4. For 2019, its exterior designed is refreshed and it sees the addition of standard electronic parking brake and high-tech safety features.
Two engines are offered: A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 164 horsepower and a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 175 horsepower. The 2.0-liter mates to a 6-speed automatic transmission and the 1.6-liter mates to a 7-speed automatic. Fuel-economy ranges from 21 mpg city to 32 mpg highway.
The Tucson is available in five trims: SE, Value, SEL, Sport and Limited. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, power liftgate, keyless entry, push-button start, sunroof, heated front seats, heated rear seats, cooled front seats, Bluetooth, USB, Blue Link connectivity system, satellite radio and navigation system. Safety features include blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, rear-view camera, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, rear parking sensors, traction control, and stability control.
New features for 2019 include a new cascading grille, a new center stack design, forward collision avoidance, lane-keeping assist and driver attention warning.
