2019 Hyundai Santa Fe: The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is a 5- or 7-seat crossover that's only available as a 4-door wagon. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. For 2019, the Santa Fe is all-new inside and out, and it changes its name to Santa FE Sport for the 5-seat model and Santa Fe XL for the 7-seat.
There are three available engines. A 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that makes 185 horsepower or a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 235 horsepower, for Santa Fe Sport. A 3.3-liter V6 that makes 290 horsepower for the Santa Fe XL. There are two transmission available: A 6-speed and an 8-speed automatic. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 17 mpg city to 29 mpg highway.
There are five trims available: SE, SEL, SEL Plus, Limited and Ultimate. Features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB port, BlueLink connectivity system, premium audio, sunroof, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, heated front seats, heated second-row seats, cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth, satellite radio and navigation system. Safety features include multi-view camera, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic detection, smart cruise control, lane-change assist, lane-departure warning, dual-front, front-side and backup camera.
New features for 2019 include a bold new exterior and a cabin with increased visibility and storage space, along with new safety technologies.
