2019 Hyundai Elantra: The 2019 Hyundai Elantra is a 5-seat car that's only available as a 4-door sedan. Only front-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic and Chevy Cruze. For 2019, the Elantra sedan receives a refreshed front end and new wheel designs, while the GT model remains unchanged.
There are three different engines available: A 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 128 horsepower, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 147 horsepower, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower. There are three available transmissions: A six-speed manual and 6- and 7-speed automatic.
There are four different trims: SE, SEL, Value Edition and Limited. Available features include remote start via Amazon Alexa and Blue Link app suite, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, LED headlamps, navigation, wireless smartphone charging and LED daytime running lights. Safety features include smart cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, attention assist, high-beam assist, blind-spot detection and rear-cross traffic alert.
