2019 Honda Pilot

2019 Honda Pilot: The 2019 Honda Pilot is an 8-seat crossover that's only available as a 4-door wagon. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Chevrolet Traverse, Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander.

There's only one engine available: A 3.5-liter V6 that makes 280 horsepower and pairs to either a 6-speed or a 9-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 18 mpg city to 27 mpg highway. Maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds.

There are five trim levels available: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Elite. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, power tailgate, tri-zone climate control, heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB and navigation. Safety features include rearview camera, collision-mitigation braking system, road-departure mitigation system, stability control, forward-collision warning system and lane-departure warning.

New features for 2019 include Honda Sensing standard on all trims, 4G LTE hotspot, cabin talk and cabin control app for smartphones.
