2019 GMC Yukon: The 2019 GMC Yukon is a 7- or 8-passenger full-size luxury SUV that's only available as a 4-door wagon. Rear and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Lincoln Navigator. For 2019, Yukon remains unchanged. The Yukon XL, which is 20 inches longer, is also available.
There are two engines available: A 5.3-liter V8 that makes 355 horsepower and a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 420 horsepower. The 5.3-liter pairs to a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the 6.2 mates with a 10-speed automatic. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 14 mpg city to 23 mpg highway. Maximum towing capacity is 8,200 pounds.
The Yukon is available in three trims: SLE, SLT and Denali. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, teen-driver monitoring, wireless phone charging, 4G LTE hotspot, remote start, remote keyless entry, fold-flat second- and third-row seats, heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, power hands-free liftgate, navigation system, USB ports, satellite radio, Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control and sunroof. Safety features include forward-collision alert, lane-keep assist, low-speed forward-automatic braking, rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot alert and lane-change alert.
