2019 Dodge Durango: The 2019 Dodge Durango is a 6- or 7-seat car that's only available as a 4-door wagon. Rear-and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, GMC Acadia, Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. For 2019, the Durango sees the addition of new exterior colors, wheel designs, optional sound system and other performance add-ons. A super sports SRT variant is also offered.
The Durango is offered with three engines: A 3.6-liter V6 that makes 293 horsepower (295 with available dual exhaust), a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 360 horsepower, and a 6.4-liter V8 that makes 475 horsepower in the SRT trim. All three engines pair with eight-speed automatic transmissions. EPA-estimated fuel-economy ranges from 14 mpg city to 26 mpg highway.
The Durango is available in five trim levels: SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T and SRT. Features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual exhaust, spoiler, power liftgate, remote start, sunroof, rear air conditioning, tri-zone climate control, leather seats, heated/cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, heated steering wheel, satellite radio, USB port, premium audio and navigation system. Safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic detection, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, rear park assist and rearview camera.
