2019 Chevrolet Volt: The 2019 Chevrolet Volt is a 5-seat plug-in hybrid car that's only available as a 4-door hatchback. Only front-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Toyota Prius Prime plug-in hybrid. For 2019, the Volt sees the addition of a new 7.2 kW charging system, tech features, and tire fill alert.
There is only one drivetrain available: A 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that's assisted by a 111 kW electric motor that together produce 149 horsepower. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 106 MPG combined. The Volt has an electric range of 53 miles.
There are two trims available: LT and Premier. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated rear seats, leather-wrapped seats, smartphone integration and adaptive cruise control. Safety features include rearview camera, teen-driver monitoring, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot alert, lane-change alert, rear cross-traffic detection, forward collision alert, forward automatic braking and parking assist.
New features for 2019 include 6-way adjustable power seats, new rearview camera, new interior designs, an 8-inch touchscreen, and pedestrian alert.
