2024 BMW X5: The BMW X5 gets a fresh exterior design for 2024, including new grille, bumper, headlights, taillights, and even wheel designs. There’s also a new iDrive 8.5 update for the infotainment system. The X5 is a luxury midsize crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door wagon. Its competitors include the Porsche Cayenne, Lexus GV80, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90. A plug-in hybrid variant is offered.

Four trims are offered: sDrive40i, xDrive40i, xDrive,50e, and xDrive M60i. Three engines are offered: a 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder that produces 375 hp in the M40i, a plug-in hybrid 6 cylinder that makes 483 horsepower, and a twin-turbo V8 that produces 523 horsepower in the M60i. All pair to a 7-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission. Rear- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Pricing ranges from $66,000 to $91,000.
