2019 Acura RDX: The 2019 Acura RDX is a 5-seat compact crossover that's only offered as a 4-door wagon. Front- and all-wheel drive models are offered. Competitors include the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Lexus NX and Mercedes-Benz GLC. For 2019, the RDX has been awarded an all-new interior and exterior design, in addition to a brand-new engine and sporty A-Spec trim.
Only one engine is offered: A turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 272 horsepower and is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 20 mpg city to 28 mpg highway.
There are four trims available: RDX, RDX Technology, RDX A-Spec, and RDX Advanced. Features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated side mirrors, navigation system, remote start, Bluetooth, premium audio, HD radio, satellite radio, USB, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, power front seats, heated and cooled front seats and power tailgate.
New features for 2019 include standard LED headlights,19-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, and a new infotainment interface with a 10.2-inch display. AcuraWatch also comes standard and it includes forward-collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot warning rear cross-traffic alert and rearview camera.
