2018 Toyota Avalon: The 2018 Toyota Avalon is an entry-luxury sedan that shares some DNA with both the Toyota Camry and the Lexus ES. This five-seat, four-door sedan competes with vehicles such as the Chevrolet Impala, Hyundai Azera, and Kia Cadenza. It's available with a hybrid model, and it carries unchanged for 2018.

The hybrid uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder combined with an electric motor for a total system horsepower of 200. Power gets to the hybrid's wheels via a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). The Avalon has a front-wheel drive layout, and EPA-estimated fuel economy numbers of 21 mpg city/30 mpg highway and 40/39 for the hybrid.
The Avalon is available in XLE, XLE Plus, XLE Premium, Touring, and Limited trims.
