2018 Subaru Impreza: The 50th Anniversary Edition of the 2018 Subaru Impreza debuted at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show. The Impreza is a compact sedan that competes with vehicles such as the Kia Forte and Mazda 3. It's offered as either a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback and it seats five passengers. It also serves as the basis for the company's sporty WRX sedan, which is covered separately. The Impreza remains unchanged for 2018, with the exception of automatic headlight activation when the windshield wipers are turned on.
The Impreza is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 152 horsepower and pairs with either a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). Like most Subarus, the Impreza has all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers range from 28 mpg to 37 mpg highway in CVT models.
The Impreza is offered in base, Premium, Sport, and Limited trims. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather-trimmed seats, EyeSight driver assists, heated seats, moonroof, premium audio, fog lights, navigation, and Bluetooth.
Available safety features include blind-spot detection, automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear-view camera, reverse automatic braking, and dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
