2018 Subaru Crosstrek: The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek is a wagon-like subcompact crossover SUV that slots below the Forester in Subaru's lineup. It competes against other small utility vehicles such as the Mazda CX-5 and Nissan Juke. The Crosstrek has been redesigned inside and out for 2018, and now features Active Torque Vectoring like its high-performance sibling, the WRX STI.
The Crosstrek is powered by a 2.0-liter horizontally-opposed four-cylinder engine that makes 152 horsepower and pairs with either a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously-variable automatic (CVT). The Crosstrek, like most Subarus, is all-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 23 mpg city and 29 mpg highway with the five-speed manual and 27/33 with the CVT.
The Crosstrek is available in three different trims: 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, and 2.0i Limited. Available convenience features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB, navigation, moonroof, satellite radio, leather-wrapped seats, and heated front seats.
Available safety features include blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, frontal collision warning, sway control, adaptive headlights, automatic high beam control, stability control, traction control, and dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
