2018 Rolls-Royce Dawn

Rolls-Royce Dawn: With design elements that are unmistakably Roll-Royce, the Dawn mixes classic lines and modern technology and an open roof.

The Dawn is the convertible version of the Wraith coupe and it’s hand-built in Goodwood, England. Whether the top is up, down, or in motion, all it takes is one touch for the roof to silently fold away or close.

Beneath the long hood is a 563-horsepower, 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that also makes 575 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Despite a curb weight over 5,600 pounds, the Rolls-Royce Dawn can sprint from 0-to-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and reach a governed top speed of 155 mph.

The Dawn is equipped with advanced driver assistance features such as active cruise control that has a radar sensor to scan the road ahead. A grille-mounted infrared night vision camera detects potential hazards up to 328 yards in front, and a head-up display provides current speed, directions, speed limits and lane-departure warnings at a glance.

The 2+2 cabin is crafted in soft leather and hand-cut wood veneer. Available features include open-grain Canadel paneling or rich burr finishes. Other key features include a Hi-Fi audio setup with 18 speakers, which automatically adjust to overcome exterior noise.
