2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE

2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class: The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class offers both coupe and crossover SUV models and competes against the Acura MDX, BMW X5, BMW X6, and Lexus RX. For 2018, the GLE-Class remains unchanged. AMG high-performance and hybrid variants are also available.

The GLE offers several engines to choose from. There's a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 302 horsepower, a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 329 horsepower (a hybrid version makes 436 horsepower), a 3.0-liter V6 that makes 385 horsepower, and a 5.5-liter V8 that makes 550 or 577 horsepower depending on trim. GLE models feature a seven-speed automatic transmission, while AMG models utilize a nine-speed automatic transmission.

There are six different trims available: GLE 350, GLE 350 4MATIC, GLE 550e 4MATIC Plug-in Hybrid, AMG GLE 43, AMG GLE 63, and AMG GLE 63 S. Available features include infotainment system, premium audio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, navigation, satellite radio, leather seats, heated and ventilated seats, heated rear seats, panoramic roof, rear entertainment system, remote start, and premium audio.

Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, rear-view camera, automatic emergency braking, self-steering capabilities, rear cross-traffic alert, and dual-front, front-side, front-pelvic, driver-knee and side-curtain airbags.
