2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class: The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is one of the most well-known nameplates in the mid-size luxury sedan class, and it competes against some other well-known names, such as the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, and Lexus GS. E-Class is available as a four-door sedan and wagon, as well as a two-door coupe and convertible. For 2018, the E-Class sedan remains unchanged, while the Coupe and Cabriolet models are all-new. High-performance AMG variants are also available.
There are four different engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 241 horsepower, a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 329 horsepower, a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 396 horsepower, and a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 603 horsepower. The E-Class is available with rear- or all-wheel drive. All models have a nine-speed automatic transmission.
There are several models available: E 300, E 300 4MATIC, E 400 4MATIC, AMG E 43, and AMG E 63 S. Available convenience features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, premium audio, power trunk closer, head-up display, satellite radio, heated and cooled front seats, navigation, USB, Bluetooth, infotainment and telematics system, dual-zone climate control, and remote start.
Available safety features include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot monitoring, car-to-x communication, park assist, rear-view camera, rear cross-traffic alert, pre-collision system and dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
