The CX-3 has either front- or all-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 29 mpg city and 34 mpg highway for front-wheel drive models and 27/32 for all-wheel-drive models.

There are three trims available: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Available convenience features include fog lamps, navigation, Pandora, infotainment, Bluetooth, USB, satellite radio, heated front seats, keyless entry, heated side mirrors, and spoiler.

Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
