2018 Lexus NX

360-Spin-Text

2018 Lexus NX: The 2018 Lexus NX is a sporty compact crossover SUV that seats five and competes with the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It slots beneath the company's popular RX in the lineup, and it offers a hybrid version. For 2018, the NX sees the addition of a new standard eight-inch multimedia screen, power folding mirrors, new exterior colors, and the Lexus Safety System+ suite of high-tech safety features.

The NX offers two different engines: A turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 235 horsepower, and a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor for a total system horsepower of 194. All models feature a six-speed automatic transmission and are available with either front- or all-wheel drive, except for the hybrid, which is all-wheel-drive only. Fuel economy is EPA-estimated at 22 mpg city/28 mpg highway (22/27 for the AWD model with available F Sport package) and 33/30 for the hybrid.

Three trims are available: NX 300, NX 300 F Sport, and NX 300h. Available features include Bluetooth, satellite radio, premium audio, USB, navigation, heated seats, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, power liftgate, moonroof, wireless cell-phone charging, and remote control via app for certain vehicle functions.

Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rearview camera with rear cross-traffic alert, stability control, rear-view camera, traction control and dual-front, front-side, driver-knee and front and side-curtain airbags.
