2018 Kia Stinger/Stinger GT: The 2018 Kia Stinger is an all-new entry-luxury sports sedan. It seats five and competes with the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, and Lexus IS. The Stinger is Kia's first luxury sports sedan, and it shares some components with the brand's K900 flagship sedan.
The Stinger will be offered with two engines: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 255 horsepower or a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 (GT) that will make 365 horsepower. Both pair to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Stinger will be offered with rear- or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway for the four-cylinder, and 19/25 for the V6.
There are five trims available: Stinger, Premium, GT, GT1, and GT2. Available features will include head-up display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, Bluetooth, navigation, premium audio, leather seats, heated and ventilated seats, power moonroof, etc.
Safety features will include forward-collision assistance with autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and rear cross-traffic assist, rearview camera, blind-spot monitoring, in addition to a standard suite of airbags.
