2018 Kia Soul: The 2018 Kia Soul is a five-seat funky urban runabout that competes against the Fiat 500L and the Mini Cooper Hardtop 4-Door and Countryman. It remains unchanged for 2018. An electric version is also available.
The Soul offers three engines: A 1.6-liter four-cylinder that makes 130 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 161 horsepower, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower. Available transmissions include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic and a seven-speed automatic. The Soul EV has a 109-horsepower electric motor and a one-speed automatic transmission. The Soul is front-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 24 mpg city to 31 mpg highway.
There are three available trims: Base, +, and !. The Soul EV is offered in EV-e, EV, and EV+. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, navigation, infotainment, Bluetooth, USB, premium audio, leather seats, heated/cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and remote keyless entry.
Available safety features include rearview camera, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning system, forward-collision warning, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
