2018 Kia Rio: The 2018 Kia Rio and its hatchback variant, the Kia Rio5, are five-seat compact cars that compete in a highly contested class with the Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit and Mazda 3. The Rio lineup is all-new for 2018 and features design upgrades inside and out.
There is only one engine available: A 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 130 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic is available. The Rio is front-wheel drive and it has EPA fuel-economy numbers of 27 mpg city and 36 mpg highway across the board.
The Rio is available in three different trims: LX, S, and EX. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, infotainment system, satellite radio, USB, auxiliary jack, Bluetooth and keyless entry.
Available safety features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring system, rear-view camera, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
