2018 Jeep Compass: The 2018 Jeep Compass is a crossover-SUV that seats five passengers and is available with two- or four-wheel drive. It competes with the Ford Escape and Hyundai Tucson. For 2018 it offers a two-wheel drive variant in the range-topping trim.
The Compass offers only one engine, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower and mates to one of three transmissions: A nine-speed automatic, a six-speed manual, or a six-speed automatic. The 2018 Compass is offered in front- or four-wheel-drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy with the manual transmission is 22 mpg city and 32 mpg highway (22/31 four-wheel-drive), and 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway with the automatic (22/30 four-wheel-drive).
There are four trims available: Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, fog lamps, power liftgate, sunroof, tow hooks, dual-zone climate control, USB, heated front seats, satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth, and Chrysler's UConnect multimedia suite.
