2018 Jaguar XJ: The 2018 Jaguar XJ serves as the brand's flagship sedan and competes with the BMW 7-Series, Lexus LS, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. For 2018 it sees the addition of a new super-sports XJR575 model, a revamped 10-inch screen infotainment system with 4G LTE WiFi, and new driver assist safety features. A long-wheelbase version is available.
The XJ is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 340 horsepower and mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 5.0-liter supercharged V8 makes 470 horsepower (575 in the XJR575) and pairs to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2018 XJ is offered with rear- or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel-economy ranges from 15 mpg city to 27 mpg highway.
Three trims are available: XJ R-Sport, XJ Supercharged, and XJR575. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated/cooled front seats, heated rear seats, navigation, infotainment system, USB, smartphone integration, adaptive cruise control, in-car Wi-Fi, and premium audio.
Available safety features include a 360-degree camera, rear traffic-detection, automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, closing vehicle sensing, semi-automated parking assist, dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags, traction control, and stability control.
