2018 Jaguar XE: The 2018 Jaguar XE is a compact sport sedan that competes with the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes C-Class, and Lexus IS. For 2018 it receives a new, entry-level four-cylinder engine, a surround-camera parking option, forward cross-traffic detection, and parking guidance.
There are several engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 247 and 296 horsepower, a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that makes 380 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel that makes 180 horsepower. All pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The XE is available with rear- or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 21 mpg city/30 mpg highway for the V6 (20/29 with AWD), and 21/30 for the turbocharged diesel.
There are six trims available: XE, Premium, Prestige, R-Sport, S, and Portfolio. Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite radio, navigation, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, leather seats, heated and ventilated seats, power moonroof, infotainment system, Bluetooth, and USB outlets.
Available safety features include rearview camera, traction control, stability control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic detection, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
