2018 Jaguar F-Type: The 2018 Jaguar F-Type is a two-seat sporty coupe or convertible that competes with the Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche Cayman. For 2018, Jaguar adds less-expensive entry-level four-cylinder engine, a GoPro telemetry program, a revamped infotainment system, and a redesigned front end and LED lighting.
The F-Type offers a choice of a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 or a 5.0-liter supercharged V8. The four-cylinder makes 296 horsepower, the V6 either 340, 380, or 400 horsepower, and the V8 makes either 550 0r 575. Six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions are available, and the F-Type is available with either rear- or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel-economy ranges from 16 mpg city to 28 mpg highway.
The F-Type is available in five trims: F-Type, R-Dynamic, 400 Sport, R, and SVR. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather seats, heated and cooled seats, moonroof, adaptive cruise control, USB, infotainment system, satellite radio, navigation, and remote start.
Available safety features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, forward-collision warning, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and dual-front and front-side airbags.
