There are three powertrains offered on the Ioniq: A hybrid powertrain that pairs a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for 139 total system horsepower. This powertrain is available in both standard hybrid and plug-in hybrid configurations. The third powertrain is an all-electric motor that makes 120 horsepower. The Ioniq is front-wheel drive. The hybrid uses a six-speed automatic transmission while the electric Ioniq has a single-speed transmission.
There are three trims available: Blue, SEL, and Limited. Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, BlueLink connectivity system, USB, wireless charging, navigation system, sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, satellite radio, etc.
Available safety features include rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, smart cruise control and lane-departure warning, dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
