2018 GMC Canyon: The 2018 GMC Canyon is a mid-size pickup truck that shares a platform with the Chevrolet Colorado. It competes with the Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Tacoma. For 2018 it sees the addition of washer fluid level sensor as a standard feature.
There are three engines available - a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 200 horsepower, a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 308 horsepower, and a 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder that makes 186 horsepower. The 2.5-liter is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while the 3.6-liter is available with an eight-speed automatic. The diesel is available with a six-speed automatic. The Canyon is available in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy numbers range from 19 mpg city to 31 mpg highway, depending on engine and transmission configuration.
Available trim levels include SL, Canyon, SLE, All-Terrain, SLT, and Denali. Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, locking tailgate, remote start, heated front seats, USB, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, 8-inch touchscreen, and navigation.
Available safety features include stability control, rear-view camera, forward-collision alert, lane-departure warning, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags, rollover mitigation.
