2018 GMC Acadia: The 2018 GMC Acadia is a five, six or seven-seat mid-size entry-luxury crossover SUV that competes against vehicles such as the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. For 2018, the Acadia gets an automatic heated steering wheel, tire pressure monitoring system with tire fill alert, and new exterior color choices.
The Acadia offers two engines: A 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 193 horsepower and a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 310 horsepower. Both pair with six-speed automatic transmissions. Both engines are available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 21 mpg city/26 mpg highway for the four-cylinder (21/25 with all-wheel drive) and 18/25 for the V6 with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
The Acadia is available in four trims levels: SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali. Available convenience features include 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, All-Terrain package with a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB ports, tow-assist system, power liftgate, towing-assist system and cargo-management system.
Available safety features include rearview camera, forward-collision alert, lane-departure warning, side blind-zone alert, front pedestrian braking, forward automatic braking, 360-degree camera, rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert and lane-change alert, side-impact, seat-mounted driver-side impact, and side-curtain airbags.
