2018 Ford Transit Connect: The 2018 Ford Transit Connect is a smaller version of Ford's Transit that competes with the Nissan NV200 and Ram ProMaster City. It's meant to usher passengers and cargo through urban environments. For 2018 it sees the addition of automatic headlamps with configurable daytime running lamps, as well as several optional trim packages.
The sole engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 169 horsepower and mates to a six-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel economy for the front-wheel-drive Transit Connect is 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.
Available features include Ford's Sync 3 multimedia suite, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather seats, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and tilt/telescope steering wheel.
Available safety features include rearview camera, blind-spot information system with rear cross-traffic alert, stability control, and dual-front and front-side airbags.
