2018 Ford Taurus: The 2018 Ford Taurus is a five-seat full-size sedan that competes with the Chevrolet Impala, Chrysler 300, and Toyota Avalon. It enters 2018 completely unchanged. A sporty SHO variant is available.
The Taurus offers several engines. There's a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 288 horsepower, a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 365 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 240 horsepower. The Taurus is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 20 mpg city/29 mpg highway for the 2.0-liter, 18/27 for the 3.5-liter naturally-aspirated V6 (17/24 with all-wheel drive), and 16/24 for the 3.5-liter turbocharged V6.
