2018 Chevrolet Corvette: The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette celebrates its 65th year of production. Corvette remains available in coupe and convertible forms, and it competes with the Acura NSX, Nissan GT-R, and Porsche 911. For 2018 it sees the addition of several new features such as standard 19 and 20-inch wheels, HD radio, higher-resolution rearview camera, and interior and exterior color palettes. Two high-performance variants are offered: Grand Sport and Z06.
Available engines include a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 455 horsepower (460 on Grand Sport and with performance exhaust for Stingray) and a supercharged 6.2-liter engine that makes 650 horsepower (Z06 models). Both mate to either a seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The Corvette is rear-wheel-drive only. EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers are listed at 16 mpg city/25 mpg highway for the Stingray and Grand Sport (16/26 with automatic) and 15/22 (13/23 with automatic for the Z06.
Available features include performance data recorder, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather seats, cruise control, premium audio, USB, satellite radio, Bluetooth, carbon-fiber hood, navigation, head-up display, heated and cooled seats, and a performance package.
Available safety features include anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, rear-view camera, and dual-front and front-side airbags.
