2018 BMW X6:Like the smaller X4, the 2018 BMW X6 is labeled as a sports-activity coupe by the brand. That means it's a crossover SUV with a hatchback body style that seats five. The X6 competes most closely with the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class. It remains unchanged for 2018.
The X6 is available with two engines: A 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder that makes 300 horsepower and a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 445 horsepower. Both mate to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The X6 is available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is rated at 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway for the base X6, and 15/21 for the V8.
An M performance version is offered and has a 567-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. Fuel economy is rated at 14 mpg city/19 mpg highway.
The BMW X6 is offered in two trims: xLine Design and M Sport Design. Available features include Bluetooth, USB, satellite radio, power tailgate, heated/cooled front seats, 19-inch wheels, 20-inch wheels, Apple CarPlay, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, head-up display, wireless charging, Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless charging.
Available safety features include blind-spot detection, 360-degree camera, backup camera with rear-cross traffic alert, frontal collision warning, front-side and curtain-side airbags."
