2018 BMW 7-Series

2018 BMW 7 Series: The flagship sedan of the BMW brand is the 2017 BMW 7 Series, and the Alpina B7 is its sportier twin. It's poised to continue competing against the Lexus LS and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, despite heading into 2018 unchanged.

The 7 Series is available with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder (740i) engine that produces 320 horsepower, or a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 (750i) with 445 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid version with 322 horsepower is available as well. The gasoline versions are available with either rear- or all-wheel drive, while the plug-in is all-wheel drive only. Fuel economy for the 740i is 21 mpg city/29 mpg highway (19/28 with all-wheel drive) and 17/26 for the 750i (16/25 with all-wheel drive). The 740i ePerformance plug-in is rated at 64 MPGe. All use an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, gesture control, keyless entry with push-button start, a power trunk release, soft-close doors, navigation system, USB port, satellite radio, premium audio, Bluetooth and power moonroof.

Safety features include automatic braking, blind-spot monitor, lane departure warning, high beam assist, LED lighting, adaptive headlights, etc."
